[ DOSE & FOCUS ]

a little caffeine is still caffeine

small caffeine amounts, useful research, and more choice over the amount you take.

[ THE SHORT ANSWER ]

small amounts of caffeine have shown effects on attention and performance in human research, including doses as low as 12.5 mg in one controlled study. workflow’s 20 mg caffeine portions give you a smaller unit to work with, paired with 40 mg l-theanine in every gummy.

caffeine that fits the moment

workflow pairs 20 mg caffeine from guarana with 40 mg l-theanine in each gummy. smaller increments let you choose your caffeine amount for the moment, with the pairing built into every piece.

choose pineapple yuzu or blood orange mango. both flavors are vegan, made with pectin, and come in a resealable pouch of 40 gummies. each gummy contains 2 g sugar.

02

what does microdosing caffeine mean?

“microdosing” is often used to describe small caffeine portions. it is not a standardized dosing protocol in this guide. a single small amount and repeated small amounts across the day are different patterns.

ask three concrete questions: how many milligrams at once, how many across the whole day, and at what times? a small portion can still contribute to a large daily total if repeated.

inside a low-dose study

a double-blind study of 23 adults tested placebo and 12.5, 25, 50, and 100 mg caffeine after overnight abstinence. researchers reported effects on cognitive performance across the caffeine doses, with relatively flat dose-response relationships.

this was a small, acute study using specific tasks. overnight abstinence matters when interpreting results, particularly for habitual caffeine users. the findings do not establish a universal minimum effective dose or prove that everyone experiences the same benefit.

04

make the smaller portion useful

write down the amount in your usual serving and the amount in the option you are considering. then decide whether you are replacing that serving, reducing its size or adding something new.

for example, replacing a 100 mg serving with 20 mg removes 80 mg from that occasion. doing the same twice removes 160 mg from the day. the point is to compare a whole routine, not just the smallest number on a label.

lower dose is a question worth asking

[ GOOD QUESTIONS ]

a little more clarity

does microdosing mean taking caffeine all day?

the term has no single protocol here. distinguish a small portion from repeated doses: both amount and timing contribute to your routine.

why does workflow use 20 mg caffeine per gummy?

a smaller increment gives you more choice over your caffeine amount for the moment. each gummy pairs 20 mg caffeine with 40 mg l-theanine, in a format you can take with you.
