[ DAILY HABITS ]

less caffeine, more intention

a practical way to understand your daily caffeine total, compare smaller portions, and make deliberate swaps.

[ THE SHORT ANSWER ]

start with the caffeine you already drink or eat, then choose the part of your routine you want to change. a smaller portion can make the difference visible. compare the whole-day total and make gradual changes.

01

start with the amounts you already use

write down the caffeine amount and time for each coffee, tea, energy drink, supplement, and other caffeinated product you normally have. use the label or the seller’s information for that actual serving. “one coffee” is a ritual; it is not a consistent unit of caffeine.

keep the ritual and the caffeine amount as two separate questions. do you want the warm drink, the break, the flavor, or the stimulant? a smaller cup, a decaf option, or a lower-caffeine product may fit different answers.

02

make the change gradual

the fda advises cutting back gradually if you use caffeine every day, because withdrawal can be unpleasant. it also notes that sensitivity varies and that health conditions or medications can affect what is appropriate for you.

for a reduction plan tailored to your health and routine, speak with a qualified clinician, particularly during pregnancy or breastfeeding or when taking medication.

03

replace rather than add

for illustration, replacing a serving labeled 100 mg with one workflow gummy labeled 20 mg changes that occasion by 80 mg. adding that same gummy to the original serving increases it to 120 mg. these are arithmetic examples, not recommended doses.

use the daily planner to add your usual servings, change one of them and compare the whole-day total. start with the label on your own drink or product; a generic coffee estimate can miss a lot of variation.

04

where workflow fits

workflow is a caffeine + l-theanine gummy with 20 mg caffeine from guarana and 40 mg l-theanine per gummy. the countable format makes the caffeine amount explicit. it can be an option for an adult choosing a smaller amount in place of a higher-caffeine serving.

the amount you consume is still your choice. workflow contains caffeine and is not a treatment for caffeine dependence. follow the product label and include every source in your daily total.

a smaller swap changes the total

[ GOOD QUESTIONS ]

a little more clarity

should i count tea and energy gummies too?

yes. include every caffeine source in the total, regardless of the format or whether the caffeine comes from a plant.

can i keep coffee while lowering my intake?

a smaller portion or decaf can preserve the ritual. compare the amount in your actual drink, and make changes gradually if you use caffeine regularly.
